Art for Kids
The Fein Academy Art program for children teaches drawing, painting, and collage. It helps your child develop awareness, appreciation, and sensitivity, as well as encouraging self expression and artistic development.
Our workouts are self-paced, individually challenging and are a lot of fun!
Art - Toddlers

Art - Beginers

We make ourselves familiar with how to use paints, pallets, brushes, napkins, etc.
We learn that our paints (tempera/gouache) love "to drink", and if we add more water to it, paint becomes transparent. We realized that most of the paintings have background.
We learn about colors and how to mix them. We can mix a lot of different colors just using red, green and blue.
We know that colors can be warm and cold. We know that if we add white to any paint the colors become lighter, and if we add a little bit of black (just a little, because black is the "strongest" paint) - the colors become darker.
Art - Intermidiate
6y - 7y
We work on different projects from sketch, to collage, to painting. It helps children to think through the idea, understand composition of the piece, analyze the details the piece consist of, and what role the background plays.
We learn about colors and that all the colors we need, can be mixed using red, green, blue + white and black paints.
Art - Advanced
7y+
We study line as one of the elements of art, we learn that line can be diagonal, vertical or horizontal, strait, bent or broken into angles, parallel or broken.
We do many fun projects using lines and see that lines can be important part of the design as well as inspiration for our fantasies.
